How to make a character (part one)

Start the character Nell In Bridewell
This character is the fusion of five different ones.
Step 1:The Original base pkotos are in grey scale for homogeneity...
Change the method of all the photocolors from RGB to GREY SCALE
Step 2: Erase, with the clone option the man in the picture n° 1 (but not his arms)
This will be the base for our character.
Step 3 Copy Diana's back from photo n°2 (in a new layer)
the picture was reversed with the mirror option
Step 4: Adapt the selection with the menu free Transformation

Hei!Psst... hold down the... Shift key,the proportions of the figure don't change
Step 5: Copy Diana's bottom from photo n°3 (in a new layer)
Thank you Diana for the wonderful buttocks :-)
Step 6: Make sure the creases of the buttocks match.
Hei!Psst... For a better precision reduce temporarily the transparency
This area is wrong, the position of the old character was different
Step 7: Copy Diana's shoulder from photo n°2 (in a new layer)
Put the layer in background
Step 8:work carefully and erase all the surplus
At this point, the lower legs and feet need to be rebuilt.
We need to copy only the portions circled.
Step 9:Copy the ankle from photo n°4 (in a new layer)
Note: When a new image is inserted in a context,
we often have to adapt the colour.
It could be a very complex situation and I’m going to have a separate lesson about that.
Fortunately in this case, we must adapt only the levels of grey
with the method Brightness/Contrast.
Step 10: Adapt the selection with the menu free Transformation (see above)
Step 11: And Now copy the feet
the poor resolution is due to the representation in GIF format, it really is much better
Step 12: Copy the feet from photo n°5 (in two different layers)
We can see the result

Copy the hair in a new layer, From menu filter select Sharpen (adjust the depth)
From menu Brightness/Contrast.(adjust the colour)
